Submission statement

CV Records is looking for original artists with a distinctive sound, a clear artistic identity, and a professional commitment to their music career. Every submission is reviewed for originality, quality, market potential, and alignment with the vision of CV Records.

What artists should submit

Your form should request:

  • Artist or group name
  • Legal name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • City, state, and country
  • Music genre
  • Artist biography
  • Song title
  • Private streaming link
  • Music video or performance link
  • Social media links
  • Current streaming profiles
  • Professional artist photograph
  • Cover artwork, if available
  • Publishing and ownership information
  • A brief explanation of what the artist is seeking from CV Records

For the music itself, I would require a private SoundCloud, Google Drive, YouTube, or streaming link rather than large audio-file uploads. That will keep your website form easier to manage.

Submission requirements

All music must be original and submitted by the artist, songwriter, producer, manager, or authorized representative. The person submitting must have the legal authority to share the recording and related materials for review.

Please submit finished or professionally recorded music. Unfinished demos, voice notes, copyrighted instrumentals without permission, and music containing uncleared samples may not be considered.

 

Important notice

Submitting music does not guarantee acceptance, representation, distribution, publishing, licensing, or a recording agreement with CV Records. Due to the number of submissions received, CV Records may contact only those artists whose music is selected for further consideration. Please do not send repeated submissions or follow-up messages unless requested.

CV Records does not charge artists simply to submit music for consideration.

That helps distinguish your label from questionable pay-to-submit services.
